Proxy Visits offer an online social experience to explore our exhibition Rendering Refusal. Inspired and informed by Proxy Protests, the visits will take place via video call at each of the exhibition venues – Kunstraum Kreuzberg/Bethanien and Betonhalle, Silent Green. Each visitor will connect directly to a Proxy host and together you decide what route to take, which artworks to take a closer look at, and what to discuss during your visit. Through this visiting experience, the festival aims to widen access to the exhibition at both venues.
After booking a Proxy Visit, you will receive a confirmation email with further details about your visit, including an exhibition map, and a Zoom link that you can share with friends if you want to visit together. When joining the call you will be greeted by your Proxy host who will guide you through the exhibition.
To attend a Proxy Visit you will need access to a computer or smartphone (we recommend using a computer). Proxy Visits to the exhibition take place over a half hour and are available in German, English, Spanish, Italian, French, Dutch, Slovenian, and Danish.
Proxy Visits are available to book online from 15 February, and are subject to a €2 handling fee. Booking slots will be added weekly.
If you have any questions, please send an email to proxyvisit[at]transmediale.de.
